WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT for National Institute of Fashion Technology recruitment?
27 years. The maximum upper age limit for NIFT employees may be relaxed up to (05) five years or the total length of service rendered (on a regular and/or long-term
contract basis) whichever is less. For persons belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen,
age relaxation shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The maximum age limit prescribed for
recruitment can be relaxed by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates and 03 years in the case of
OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates. The age relaxation limit prescribed above will be further
relaxable up to a maximum of 10 years in the case of PWD candidates for whom the post has
been identified as suitable.
